Centrifugal fans BD Series: 2.000 – 120.000 m³/h
The BD Series has been designed and carried out for conveying high flow fumes and corrosive vapours. In fact BD Series allow to reach a flow between 2.000 and 120.000 m³/h.
RANGE
The BD Series consists of 3 groups of fans with standard sizes, divided according to the maximum pressure (low pressure, medium pressure, high pressure):
Operating mode: belt driven.

MATERIALS AND PROPERTIES
The main property of our fans is the resistance to corrosion, which is obtained by the rational selection of those thermoplastics wich ensure the best warranties to resist to most chemical compounds. Among many thermoplastics which might have been suitable for the realization of BD Series, we have selected polypropylene (PP), since this material offers the well known and excellent properties of chemical and mechanical resistance to a wide range of compounds: acids, alkalis, salts and a great number of organic solvents. Its chemical resistance against fumes or vapours is guaranteed up to an operating temperature of 80° C. Furthermore, it has been our intention to create BD Series as complete as possible by including manufacturing with antistatic and self-extinguishing PP (PP/S) casing and PP impeller: thus offering special features for special requirements. Finally we can also offer BD Series using other 3 types of materials, in order to fulfill any requirment: PE, PVC, PVDF. A single casing is employed in a versatile manner, that is either with clockside or anticlockside rotation, which undoubtedly facilitates all assembly or future replacement operations.
Please note that BD Series impeller material changes according to the speed:
- Up to 50 m/s: thermoplastic impeller
- From 50 m/s: steel impeller
