MATERIALS AND PROPERTIES

The main property of our fans is the resistance to corrosion, which is obtained by the rational selection of those thermoplastics wich ensure the best warranties to resist to most chemical compounds.

Among many thermoplastics which might have been suitable for the realization of DD Series, we have selected polypropylene (PP), since this material offers the well known and excellent properties of chemical and mechanical resistance to a wide range of compounds: acids, alkalis, salts and a great number of organic solvents. Its chemical resistance against fumes or vapours is guaranteed up to an operating temperature of 80° C.

Furthermore, it has been our intention to create DD Series as complete as possible by including manufacturing with antistatic and self-extinguishing PP (PP/S) casing and PP impeller: thus offering special features for special requirements.

Finally we can also offer DD Series using other 3 types of materials, in order to fulfill any requirment: PE, PVC, PVDF.

A single casing is employed in a versatile manner, that is either with clockside or anticlockside rotation, which undoubtedly facilitates all assembly or future replacement operations
